Marquette – The YMCA of Marquette County will host two Adventure Days, in conjunction with the Marquette Public Schools break on Friday, February 20 and Monday, February 23.
This program is available from 7:30 a.m.tp 6 p.m. to children in grades kindergarten through 6 and will include at least sixty minutes of physical activity a day as recommended by the Center for Disease Control.
Parents can sign up for one or both days offered. Kids will spend the day participating in activities like arts and crafts, games, sports and swimming.
Also, on these dates, a registered dietician will be on hand to offer the kids healthy eating and hands on cooking experiences.
The fee for this day is $ 30 per day for Y members and $45 per day for non-members. All participants need to bring a lunch, swim suit, towel and gym shoes. A healthy afternoon snack will be provided.
