The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a class explaining how to recognize archaeological artifacts on Thursday, May 17 from 7 to 8 p.m. in the DeVos Art Museum at Northern Michigan University. Archaeologist Marla Buckmaster will demonstrate examples of local artifacts, such as tools, points and pottery shards. Advanced registration is requested by Monday, May 14.
