Marquette – The CineArts Film Series will present “The Band”s Visit” on Friday, April 3 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Admission is free, with donations being accepted.
The Israeli film tells the story of a small Egyptian police band who arrive in Israel for a concert but are left stranded at the airport. The band finds shelter and surprising friendships in a desolate village (subtitles).
