The biology department at Northern Michigan University is presenting a seminar on Friday, April 27 at 3 p.m. in Mead Auditorium. The public is invited to attend free of charge. Mark Garbrecht, a candidate for a biology faculty position at NMU, will give a presentation addressing the metabolism of the hormones produced in response to infection in the human fetus. Garbrecht's focus is fetal lung development and the role hormones play in their development.
