The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a demonstration of traditional Cajun dishes on Thursday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 111 E. Ridge Street in Marquette. Ray Richards will demonstrate the preparation of the Cajun dish dirty rice and chicken-sausage gumbo. Attendees will be invited to sample his creations. Advance registration is requested by Tuesday, April 17 by calling Rod Smith at 249-9698. The cost is $7 for NCLL members and $10 for non-members.
