The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is offering a hydroponic gardening demonstration on Thursday, March 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 111 E. Ridge Street in Marquette. Presenter Jill Bradford of Big Creek Hydroponics will give an introduction agriculture and discuss its benefits versus gardening in soil. Advance registration is required by Tuesday, March 20 by calling 249-3640. There is a $4 fee for NCLL members and $7 for nonmembers.
