Marquette, Mi.– The Peter White Public Library is calling for Submissions to the High School Photography and Art Show April 30-May 2 at 10:00 a.m.
- Students in Grades 9-12 are invited to submit their original art or photographs representing teenagers in a positive way, to be displayed in the TeenZone throughout the month of May.
- An opening reception will be held on Thursday, May 3rd, from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. in the TeenZone. Refreshments will be served, free of charge.
This “See Positive” exhibit of positive peer images is inspired by Malcolm X’s brilliant use of photography to promote his people: a salute to this year’s Great Michigan Read.
