Members of 8-18 Media will offer a short presentation on their recent trip to Dearborn at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 15 in the Non-Profit Commons meeting room at 129 W. Baraga Ave., adjacent to the U.P. Childrens Museum.The group explored the experiences of Muslim youths in Dearborn, which has one of the largest concentrations of Muslims in the United States. Four 8-18 Media reporters teamed up with five reporters from Y-Press in Indianapolis, Ind., to talk with scores of youths and adults on several topics. The presentation will include photos and a question and answer period. Light refreshments will be served.
