“Teach a Kid to Fish Day” will be held at the Michigamme Township Park along the shores of Lake Michigamme on Saturday, July 21. This derby is geared toward people who have never been fishing, so activities will be simple. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Members of organizations may volunteer to help, offer food, do an outdoor activity, or host the information booth.
