Caring for Someone with Memory Loss?
Houghton, Mich.– 5/15/2018 – The next “Creating Confident Caregivers” workshop starts May 15, 2018, in Houghton. This is a free six-week workshop that meets once a week on Tuesday’s from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
The program, led by trained dementia care specialists, helps caregivers of persons with dementia and/or memory loss by providing participants with information, skills, and attitudes to manage stress and increase their effectiveness.
During the weekly sessions, materials will be provided and respite care may be available through participating area agencies while caregivers attend the workshop.
