Marquette – The first in a four-part series of Creating Confident Caregivers for Veterans sessions will be offered Tuesday, July 13 in Marquette. The program is geared toward family caregivers of veterans with memory loss.
Led by trained dementia care specialists, this university-tested program provides information, skills and attitudes for managing stress and increasing caregiver effectiveness.
The sessions or materials are free, and participants who successfully complete the workshop may qualify for a cash incentive. Respite care while attending the sessions is available through participating area agencies.
