The Central Upper Peninsula chapter of the American Red Cross will offer a Babysitter Training Course over two evenings, Monday, November 19 and Tuesday, November 20 at the Red Cross office, 424 N. Third Street in Marquette. Both evenings will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Participants must attend both evenings to be certified. This course gives 11 to 15 year olds the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school age children. The cost of the course is $38, which includes text book, certificate and a babysitter's training first aid and safety kit. Registration and prepayment are required.
