Marquette – The 25th Annual “Learning to Walk Together” traditional pow wow will be held on Saturday, March 24 at the National Guard Armory in Marquette. Doors open to the public at 11 a.m., with grand entries at noon and 6 p.m.
“Learning to Walk Together” is a means to promote cultural diversity within the community. The celebration begins with the grand entry and flag song, followed by the veteran’s song to honor male and female veterans. The event includes traditional pow wow dances and social pow wow dances, with artisan and vendor booths featuring craft items, reference materials and food.
