Marquette, Mi. – A Speakers Series presentation will be offered by Columbia Professor Mark Lilla on Thursday, April 12 at 7 p.m. in the Ontario Room of the University Center at Northern Michigan University.
Lilla’s talk is presented by the Center for Academic and Intellectual Freedom as part of its speaker series, in cooperation with NMU’s English department and the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. The aim of the series is to address squarely topics that inevitably generate interest on many college campuses today, with the hope of elevating the discourse by fostering viewpoint diversity and tolerance for a range of responsible opinion.
