The film, “The Lost Boys of Sudan” will be shown on Tuesday, October 16 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library. The documentary follows two Sudanese refugees on an extraordinary journey from Africa to America, surviving lion attacks and militia gunfire to reach a refugee camp in Kenya, then being confronted by the abundance and alienation of contemporary American suburbia. Discussion will follow the film. The event is free and sponsored by the library, and NMU's Geography Department as part of the Global Issues/Human Geography film series.
