A presentation by portrait artist Robert Shetterly will be held on Monday, October 15 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette. Shetterly created his book “Americans Who Tell the Truth” in response to the events of 9/11. He will talk about his work, the inpiration behind it and the importance of the ideals portrayed by the Americans he has painted. Sixteen prints will be on display. Books will be available for purchase and autographing. The event is being sponsored by the library, NMU and One Book, One Community. For more information, call 226-4323.
