The Lake Superior Art Association will present the plein aire painting program “Fresh Aire” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 16 at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center. There will be a door prize drawing for a rolling backpack, and refreshments will be served. The Painters on the Loose group will discuss various aspects of painting on location and the types of equipment needed for outdoor painting in pastel, oil, watercolor, and pen and ink. Group members include Cynthia Kustin, Chrys Levesque, Susan Roubal, Carolyn Snyder, Charlice Stewart, Connie Tonkin, and Michele Tuccini.
