The YMCA of Marquette County will host an Adventure Day from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, October 12 for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. This day is designed to provide the Center for Disease Control’s recommended activity of at least 60 minutes a day for all children. Kids will spend the day swimming, playing at the park, and participating in sports and/or arts and crafts. Cost is $26 for Y members and $52 for non-members. Participants need to bring a swimsuit, towel, gym shoes and a lunch. A healthy afternoon snack will be provided. For information call Rebecca Scheiding, YMCA youth and family director, at 227-9622.
