Project Compassion is an extended support group for families of soldiers of the Iraq and Afganistan War. It is a non-profit organization reaching out to families who desire extended support to help families through the transitions associated with deployment and re-entry of returning soldiers. Support group weekly meetings will begin on Tuesday, October 9 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Vietnam Veterans of America, 173 US 41 East in Negaunee.
