The Mathematical Association of America Upper Peninsula fall conference will take place Friday and Saturday, October 5 and 6, in the Mead Auditorium at Northern Michigan University. Students and the public are welcome. Registration will begin at 3 p.m. Friday in the NMU West Science rotunda. Events begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and last until noon. Speakers for the conference will be Randall Prium of Calvin College, 2006-2007 chair of the Michigan section of the MAA; and Donald Saari, director of the Institute for Mathematical Behavioral Sciences at the University of California-Irvine; as well as presenters from Michigan Tech University and NMU.
