A dance concert by Eager Artist of Durban, South Africa, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 28 in Jamrich 102 at Northern Michigan University. The performance, titled “Kamasa” (“The Dawn”), is a celebration of South African indigenous movement told through song, story and the universal language of dance. The dance concert will culminate a week of activities for the troupe at NMU, including media appearances, class visits and a special guest presentation. The performance is sponsored by the NMU International Performing Arts Series. Tickets will be available at the door and at all NMU ticket outlets: NMU EZ Tickets 227-1032 or www.nmu.edu.tickets. Tickets cost $6 for students, $10 for faculty and $15 for the general public.
