NEWBERRY, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be making emergency repairs to the M-123 culvert over Auger Creek north of Newberry, Luce County, requiring a lane closure beginning today, Nov. 4.
Motorists should expect one lane of alternating traffic at the culvert with temporary traffic signals. The lane closure is expected to be in place until repairs can be completed. More information on the repair schedule will be released when it becomes available.
Closing the lane is necessary to keep motorists safe and prevent further damage to the roadway.
