Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service, Inc. will offer a free training session on housing rights from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 18 in the Community Room at Peter White Public Library. Lunch will be provided. The training will provide information on how housing laws impact individuals with disabilities. Attorneys will present information and answer questions about landlord-tenant law and the Fair Housing Act, and will offer practical advice and teach advocacy skills related to housing issues.
