The Forest Roberts Theatre at Northern Michigan University will have auditions for its upcoming November 14-17 production of Warrior. Auditions will be at 5 p.m. Friday, September 7 in the Black Box Theatre, and at noon Saturday, September 8 at Forest Roberts.This drama is based on the true story of Hannah Snell. Set in 1750 who, disguised as a boy went to sea in search of her errant husband.Auditions are open to any full or part-time NMU student. Actors should prepare a 45-60 second serious or comedic monologue and dress for movement. The script calls for eight men and three women. Performers with musical skills and gymnastic or climbing experience are especially welcome. Scripts and scenes will be available at auditions.
