Author William Durbin will be at the Alger County Heritage Center on Wednesday, January 17 at 7 p.m. His presentation will focus on what inspired him to write and share some origional sources in researching the Finnish American immigrants, lumberjacks, homesteaders and iron ore miners. The program is sponsored by the Hiawatha Interpretive Association.
