The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will have their Winter Kick-off on Sunday, January 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library. Registrations will be taken for winter offerings of workshops, tours, hikes and other activities. Dan Truckey, director and curator of the NMU Beaumier Heritage Center will give a short presentation about the center at 2:30 p.m. Enjoy light refreshments and socialize.
