The Noquemanon Trail Network will sponsor its third annual trails day event Saturday, January 5 at Forestville Trailhead in Marquette Township. Skiers should take Forestville Road off Wright Street and follow the blue signs. Lessons offered include: 10 a.m. beginning classical; 11 a.m. intermediate classical; noon beginning skating; and 1 p.m. intermediate skating. Arrive 15 minutes prior to lesson time to register and prepare equipment. Free trail passes, cross country ski and snowshoe rentals and free cross country ski lessons will also be available on a first come, first serve basis. Trailside snacks and hot chocolate will be provided. The Noquemanon Trail Network is a non-profit organization that promotes development of integrated, multi-use, non-motorized trails.
