The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present an exploratory class on electrical circuits commonly found in homes. The two-part class will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, December 11 and 13, in Room 127 of the Jacobetti Center at Northern Michigan University. Bob Holtzmann of NMU will explain how simple circuits work and how to perform basic electrical repairs. Topics include electrical theory, circuit operation and wiring connection. Participants will need to have either safety glasses or regular reading glasses to cover their eyes. Cost is $8 for NCLL members and $14 for non-members. Registration deadline is Friday, Dedcember 7.
