Local authors Lon and Lynn Emerick, whose writing focuses on the beauty, history and humor of the Upper Peninsula, will be featured at book signing events in December. Lon Emerick’s latest book is “You STILL Wouldn’t Like it Here — A Guide to the REAL Upper Peninsula: The Sequel.” Book signings will include: Sunday, December 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Holiday Open House and Gift Sale at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee Township; Saturday, December 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Country Village Bookstore in west Ishpeming; and Saturday, December 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Chapter Two Bookstore in Marquette.
