Calendar – Films/Documentaries – CineArts to Screen “Child 44” – Jan. 12

Marquette – CineArts Film Series will present a screening of the film “Child 44” on Friday, January 12 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

In this mystery thriller, set in the Stalin era in Russia, a police officer investigates a series of child murders. The film was released in 2015, is rated R, and runs for 2 hours and 17 minutes. It will be introduced by Professor Neil Kupper of NMU’s Department of Languages, Literature, and International Studies. Admission is free.
