Marquette – Enjoy a weeknight Gordon Lightfoot Tribute Concert with Jackie and Gary on Thursday, November 9 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Jackie Davidson started music at the age of 15 as a church organist. After college, she joined the trio, The Randy Sparks 3 which later became the Grammy award-winning group, The New Christy Minstrels. Gary Brandy is a folklorist, singer and songwriter from Michigan.
Gary started the Gordon Lightfoot Tribute Concert in 2013. He and Jackie tell stories of Gordon Lightfoot and sing hits such as “Early Morning Rain” and “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.” They like to finish their program with a sing-along medley of classic folksongs.
