Marquette – Marquette Choral Society will begin rehearsals for its spring concert on Monday, January 14 at 7 p.m. in the choral room of the Thomas Fine Arts Building at NMU.
The Choral Society meets on Monday evenings from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and is directed by Dr. Floyd Slotterback. All interested singers are welcome to join any time during the first three rehearsals, up to January 28. There is a fee for membership and music.
The spring concert will be taken from the “Chantry Choirbook,” which is sacred choral music from the Lutheran tradition.
