Marquette – November in Homeless Awareness Month. Alger-Marquette Continuum of Care will host a Candlelight Walk on Tuesday, November 28 at 5:15 p.m. from the Janzen House, 416 W. Spring Street, to the Warming Center, 447 W. Washington Street, in downtown Marquette.
Candles will be provided. The event is open to the public. At the Warming Center, the annual Helen McCormick Homeless Volunteer of the Year award will be presented.
