Munising – The Eric Beverly Foundation “Stake the Lake” Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, September 30 beginning at 10 a.m. at Bayshore Park in Munising.
Stake the Lake is all about celebrating the spirit of survivors and honoring the memory of loved ones who have been touched by cancer. You can register to walk as well as decorate a garden stake to celebrate or honor a special person in your life. The first 200 walkers to register will receive a free Stake the Lake t-shirt!
The personalized stakes will line the bay beginning at Bayshore Park.
Register to walk and/or purchase stakes at Peoples State Bank and Upper Michigan Community Credit Union in Munising, or in Marquette call Rene Allyn at 906-362-2916 or Sue Passineault at 960-202-0259.
Registration to walk is a $15 donation. Celebration Stakes are $10, Memorial Stakes are $15, and other decorating items are $5. All proceeds from the event will go to Alger County Chemotherapy and Mammography Program (CHAMP) Fund.
