Ishpeming – Local poets Beverly Matherne and Marty Achatz will team up for a special poetry reading on Saturday, July 15 at 1 p.m. at the Carnegie Library in Ishpeming.
Both poets have been nominated for the prestigious title of U.P. Poet Laureate. Achatz serves as our current poet laureate and Matherne has performed her poetry all over the globe. Don’t miss a chance to see these two talented authors perform their work live! The event is recommended for ages 16 and up.
