Marquette – UP Shakes’ will present Tennessee Williams’ “A Streetcar Named Desire” on Sunday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Ore Dock Brewing Company in downtown Marquette.
Anyone familiar with the play on stage or screen can expect a very different experience this time around. The production will feature minimal set and props, shifting focus to the actors and the text. And, because of the venue, beer will be available throughout.
Tickets are $13 for seniors and students, $15 for adults, and available at www.upshakes.org. Additional performances will be offered on July 19, 23, 25, and 30.
