Marquette, Michigan – The Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, in 602 Cohodas. Most trustees will participate via teleconference. The only agenda item is a vote on whether to approve the negotiated agreement between the university and its technical office professionals (TOP) union, UAW Local 1950. A press release on the union’s ratification of the agreement was distributed June 27, indicating the contract required board approval.
