Ishpeming – The Ishpeming Fourth of July Firecracker Fun Run will take place on Tuesday, July 4, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. and the race start at 8:45 a.m. at the Al Quaal Recreation Area.
Registration fees are $20 for adults and $15 for 18 and under for the 5K, $15 for the 1 mile walk, and there is a $1 discount for Upper Peninsula Road Runners Club.
All pre-registrants receive a free t-shirt. Race day registrants receive shirts as long as supplies last. Proceeds help fund local youth running organizations.
