Lake Linden – The 44th Annual Rice Lake Fishing Derby will take place on Sunday, June 11 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lake Linden-Hubbell Sportsmen’s Association, 51610 Rice Lake Road in Lake Linden.
It will be a family day of fun, including $1,500 in Fishing Prizes. Top prize is the largest fish by weight, which will receive a $500 certificate from Dunham’s Sports in Houghton, Mich.
10 cent raffles begin at 1 p.m. There will be $500 in prizes, courtesy of Copper Country businesses. Lunch and refreshments will be served. Registration is $5 for adults, $3 for juniors, $1 for children.
