Escanaba – Escanaba Public Safety along with Walgreens Pharmacy will host a Medication Take Back Event on Saturday, May 20 from 10 to 2 p.m. at Walgreens, 2301 Ludington Avenue in Escanaba.
The Take Back event provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing medications, while also educating the community about potential teen abuse from medications found in the home and the safety of children and our environment.
Please bring you unused opioids and medications to help make our community a safer place. Prescription and over the counter pills, capsules and patches for humans and pets will be accepted. Not accepted items include liquid medications, EpiPens, creams or gels, needles or syringes or lancets, thermometers, IV bags, sprays, vials, inhalers or powders.
