Marquette – Your Mind Matters: the Cost of Addiction–Treatment Approaches will host a substance abuse panel on Tuesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This event will feature an interdisciplinary community panel that will present what opiate addiction costs our community as a whole, the families who reside here and individuals with addictions. Topic areas will encompass the variety of approaches to treating opioid addiction from a myriad of perspectives: treating women with families, treating youth, treating with medication assistance and traditional treatment. The evening will begin with a short meet and greet, followed by the panel discussion, and ending with a question and answer session.
