Marquette – The Marquette County Conservation District and NMU’s Outdoor Learning area will co-host a shiitake mushroom inoculation workshop on Saturday, May 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Outdoor Learning Area on the campus of Northern Michigan University.
The workshop will show attendees how to properly inoculate a log with shiitake mushroom spawn to produce their own backyard harvest. Anyone interested in attending should RSVP to elise.mqtcondist@gmail.com, or call 226-8871 ext. 102.
