Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center will host a World War I Fashion Show on Saturday, April 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center at NMU.
The show will feature scenes portraying life and fashion from 1910 to 1920, including Titanic fashion, suffragist fashion, flapper styles and Great War fashion.
Suggested donations to attend are $5 for adults and $1 for students. The Friends of Fashion from Chassell are also sponsoring the event, which is being held in conjunction with the Beaumier Center’s WWI exhibition. For more information, contact heritage@nmu.edu.
