Marquette – UPAWS “Collars for a Cause Adoption Event” will be held on Wednesday, August 13 from noon to 6 p.m. at Fox Marquette on U.S. 41 in Marquette.
This is a free, offsite pet adoption fair that helps animals in need find a loving family and good home. Fox Marquette will pay for all pet adoptions. In addition to finding good homes for animals, “Collars for a Cause” will help raise money for the Upper Peninsula Animal Shelter. The pet adoption event is being brought to the community by Fox Marquette and Charter Media.
There will be UPAWS pets on site. People interested in adopting a pet must stop by Fox Marquette to see the animals and obtain an Adoption Voucher. The animals at the shelter, Petsmart and in foster care are included too, but you must stop at Fox Marquette first to obtain a voucher.
