Calendar – Music – “Concert for the Great Lakes” – Apr. 24

Marquette – A free “Concert for the Great Lakes” featuring Song of the Lakes and storyteller Norm Wheeler, will be presented on Monday, April 24 at 7 p.m. in Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.

This free community concert will feature the remarkable talents of the beloved Michigan based band Song of the Lakes performing songs from their recently released soundtrack to the legendary children’s book “Paddle to the Sea.”

The Superior Watershed Partnership, Music for All Kids and the Marquette Area Public Schools have collaborated on a grant through the Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative to increase awareness of our local Great Lakes Stewardship through music.
