Northern Michigan University's Winterfest with the theme “Frigid Fiesta”, will conclude with NMU basketball vs. Lake Superior State and NMU hockey vs. Miami University on Saturday, February 23 at the Berry Event Center. Women's basketball begins at 1 p.m. Men's basketball begins at 3 p.m. Senior Night Hockey begins at 7:30 p.m. The Student events committee will collect winter apparel, such as hats, mittens and scarves throughout the festival in cooperation with the NMU Volunteer Center.
