Northern Michigan University will conduct community-wide auditions for three student directed, one act plays on Friday, February 15 at 5 p.m. and Saturday, February 16 at 1 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre at NMU. “Beyond Therapy” calls for two men and two women, “Home Free” calls for one man and one woman, and “Closer” calls for two men and two women. Those auditioning should prepare a 60 to 90 second monologue from a contemporary play. Cuttings of scenes and monologues will also be available at the auditions. Scripts are available for 24 hour check out at the theater office. The plays will be performed April 2 through 5.
