‘Cannabis Conundrum’ Talk at NMU – 3/30/17

Marquette, MI – March 29, 2017 –  The genetics and politics of cannabis will be explored during a presentation on Thursday, March 30, at Northern Michigan University. George Weiblen, University of Minnesota professor of plant and microbial biology and director of the Bell Museum of Natural History, will lead the discussion at 8 p.m. in 1100 Jamrich Hall. The public is invited.

NMU’s chapter of Sigma XI, the scientific research society, will host the event. NMU recently added a medicinal plant chemistry major. Learn more about the new academic program at www.nmu.edu/medicinalplantchemistry.
