“The Ancient Copper Trade – Unknown History of Michigan Copper,” an entertainment series featuring U.P. authors, will be presented by the W.C. Peterson Auditorium Committee. Jerry Harju will speak on Saturday, February 23 at 7 p.m. at the Peterson Auditorium in Ishpeming. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Ishpeming Credit Union, main office and Joseph's branch, Peninsula Bank of Ishpeming main office and Jubilee branch, Wells Fargo of Ishpeming and Ishpeming High School. Tickets will also be available at the door. Proceeds will go toward auditorium improvements.
