Casperson welcomes students from Bay College to the Senate

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Tom Casperson, R-Escanaba, welcomed students and faculty from Bay College, located in Escanaba, to the Senate on Wednesday.

“I always appreciate the opportunity to meet with students from the U.P. when they come to Lansing to visit the state Capitol,” Casperson said. “I enjoyed meeting with them and discussing the many issues facing our state. This next generation of Michiganders is intelligent, civically minded, and engaged, and our state has a bright future because of them.”

The group expressed their appreciation for Casperson taking the time to visit with them during their trip, and for helping to make it a great experience.
